This Privacy Policy describes how the I'm OK app ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your personal information. By using I'm OK, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address and a display name you provide when creating an account.
• Check-in data: timestamps of your daily check-ins.
• Emergency contact information: the names you assign to your contacts and their LINE user identifiers, which are obtained when a contact links their LINE account using the invite link you share with them.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• To record your daily check-ins and detect missed check-ins.
• To send notifications to your emergency contacts via LINE when you miss a check-in or check in late.
• To send test messages when you request them.

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app's core functionality.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• LINE Corporation: Notification messages are sent through the LINE Messaging API. LINE's own privacy policy applies to messages delivered on their platform.
• Infrastructure providers: Your data is stored on Supabase (database and authentication) and served via Vercel. Both providers operate under their own data processing agreements and do not use your data for their own purposes.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.

4. Data Retention

Your account data and check-in history are retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the support address below.

5. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are never stored in plain text; authentication is managed by Supabase Auth using industry-standard practices. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information against unauthorized access.

6. Children's Privacy

I'm OK is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
